PDF Text Edit-Kun
Edit the actual text inside your PDFs. A PDF editor for iPhone and iPad.
What you can do
- Edit the text inside PDFs: The app rewrites the text itself, not an image of it. Rewrite, add, delete, and move text by dragging. You can undo any edit.
- Change text color, size, and fontNew: Select text and switch between the Text, Color, and Size tabs to keep editing with a single tap.
- SignaturesNew: Type your name to create a signature and place it anywhere on the page, at the size you want.
- Fill formsNew: Fill in form fields, checkboxes, and radio buttons in PDFs that have them.
- Save over the original fileNew: Choose "Save and Close" after editing to overwrite the PDF you opened, with no file picker.
- Compare before and after: Check your changes right on the spot.
- Organize pages: Delete and reorder pages, and merge multiple PDFs.
- Passwords and properties: Set or remove PDF passwords, and edit information such as title and author.
- Everything stays on your device: The contents of your PDFs are never sent anywhere. No account is required.
How text editing works
- Text: Tap a text block and rewrite it. If you delete all the characters and tap Apply, the whole text is removed.
- Font: "Automatic" reuses the glyphs of the original font and draws only characters missing from the PDF with a device font. If you pick a font, every character is redrawn with it. You can choose from fonts built into your device (such as Hiragino, Helvetica, Times New Roman, and Courier New) and from font files you import (.ttf / .otf).
- Color: Pick from 8 presets or choose any color.
- Size: Choose a size in points (in 0.5 pt steps) with the wheel. The size and the spacing of the text change together.
- Move: Drag the arrow handle above a text block.

Frequently asked questions
- Some PDFs can't be edited. Depending on how a PDF was created (for example, the type of fonts it uses), some text can't be edited. In that case the app tells you and leaves your PDF unchanged.
- The text disappeared after I moved or enlarged it. Some PDFs define a visible area (clipping) for certain text. If you move or enlarge the text outside that area, it would disappear, so the app leaves the PDF unchanged and tells you. Please use a smaller amount.
- Is my original PDF kept? Edits are made to a working copy inside the app. "Save" on the toolbar exports a separate file. "Close" > "Save and Close" overwrites the file you opened. This can't be undone, so if you want to keep the original, export a copy with "Save" first.
- About forging documents. Forging or falsifying documents to deceive others is prohibited. Please see the Terms of Use.
